The exhibition

Ringers #0

Ringers #0 was shown in Exhibition #0: Genesis, the first exhibition at the Art Blocks Gallery in Marfa, Texas. Curated by Jeff Davis, it opened with the gallery on 8 October 2021, in a converted house on the corner of Austin and San Antonio streets.

The exhibition brought together the first output, #0, of eighteen Art Blocks projects, among them Fidenza by Tyler Hobbs, Subscapes by Matt DesLauriers, and CENTURY by Casey REAS.

The catalogue

The exhibition catalogue gives each work a spread. Ringers #0 is listed as a digital image of variable dimensions, from an algorithmic edition of 1,000. The catalogue opens with a foreword by Robert Alice and essays by Daniel Rosario on the history of Art Blocks and its gallery in Marfa.
